About Artisan

Artisan is small independent recruitment business set up in October 2015 by our Managing Director Elliott Lewry. As we are an independent agency we are able to make quick decisions in house as Elliott has a hands-on approach and is involved in the day to day of the business. This also enables us to offer low, competitive rates as we do not have the large overheads that some of our challengers have.

We have clients and candidates nationwide and although starting within the construction industry, specialising in mechanical and electrical, we have now ventured into data and telecommunications due to the industry requirements and office staff. We pride ourselves on our strict process in which we fully vet and screen each and every one of our candidates before placing them with our clients. All of our candidates’ documentation is filed securely on our database so that it is always available at our client’s request.

We understand all our clients have different requirements therefore take our time to listen to exact needs, we tailor our service depending on this. We have the ability to offer on-site staff and all office staff also.

Elliott Lewry

Managing Director

25 years' experience within the construction and M & E recruitment industry. Progressed from a training consultant to running his own business working for small independent recruitment companies to large blue-chip corporate companies Elliott has gained a wide knowledge of the industry. Having worked on site before venturing into recruitment he has a great understanding of what clients expect from both the workers on site and us as a supplier. This has helped Artisan establish themselves quickly and within the first two years of trading this has enabled us to turn over 2.5 Million.

Branch Manager

Leanne started working for Artisan at the beginning of the company’s founding back in October ’15 having worked with Elliott at a previous company. With a sales background of over 10 years, Leanne has adapted previous skills to fit the recruitment industry and has gained an extensive knowledge of construction and M&E. As well as servicing clients and giving them the time and attention, they deserve. Leanne is also responsible for the daily running of the office.

Having worked in sales for over 12 years, Mikaela joined the Artisan team in 2016. Mikaela now possesses a widespread knowledge of the industry. Mikaela has a proven ability to build and cement relationships with her clients and goes over and above to assist with any requirements they have.

Lead Administrator

Zoe joined the team at Artisan back in 2018 and is the first port of call within our office with her bubbly reception. Zoe plays a vital part in our team as she is tasked with collecting all timesheets on a weekly basis and keeping our database up to date with our candidate’s documents ensuring we are compliant. She has built valuable relationships with a large number of candidates allowing us to ensure our service is second to none.
